The DT240 hubs provide a strong, ultralight, low maintenance, XC/Trail hub available in all spacings. DT Swiss hubs roll extremely smooth. We have now upgraded to the NEW DT240 Rachet EXP with a stock 36t ratchet!
The DT240 hubs provide a strong, light, low maintenance, XC/Trail hub available in all spacings. DT Swiss hubs roll very smooth and are low maintenance. Rather than the pawl and ratchet system, DT hubs feature a double ratchet system, so instead of engaging three to six pawls in a toothed ratchet, DT has to toothed ratchets so that all teeth engage at once. This allows for a lower maintenance hub that has longer lasting ratchets
