This FXE100 frame from DIY Carbon Bikes is a light carbon frame with compliant chain stays and a a relaxed XC/trail geometry that is suitable for a 100mm front travel or up to 130mm travel for more of an aggressive trail or downcountry rig.

The FXE100 stands for Full suspension Cross Country Endurance 100mm rear travel frame! This frame is perfect for a endurance XC rig or a downcountry rig because of the compliant chain stays and plus rear travel ride feeling like its provides more travel than 100mm!

Most people buy something new and do a review a few day later of their new product but I want to know how something is going to hold up over time. I've hammered on my FXE100 for the past year and a half and I LOVE the bike! I have a Hardtail 29er, a Gravel Bike, and a 130/120 Trail Bike. I signed up for a 6HR XC MTB series last year and was looking at getting a Full Suspension XC bike to fill the gap between the HT and Trail Bike. The Santa Cruz Blur had really caught my eye but the frame (with shock) was $3800 and I couldn't justify that much money for just a frame. Searched a couple differnt companies for similar designs and decided to pull the trigger on the DIY Carbon FXE 100. Bought the frame and did a frame up build. The frame (without shock) came in at 4.89lb and I also purchased a DIY Carbon XC wheelset (30OD 25ID 24mm deep) that came in at 1290g. The bike in XC form ready to roll came in at 25.29 lbs so it has been an incredible weight to value purchase. I've logged 964 miles on it since April 2024. 474 of those miles have been logged at race pace. 217 of those miles were logged in Colorado/Utah on a bikebacking trip. The remaining 273 miles were on local trails. I've had zero issues out of the frame or the wheelset. I liked them so much I bought a trail wheelset to go on my 130/120 bike (Niner Jet 9 RDO). Only complaint out of the bike was the headset. I was really cheesy looking so I didn't even bother putting it on. I ordered a Cane Creek Forty and it (as expected) has been bulletproof. The valve stems and the rim tape on the rims was also cheesy and leaking so i got Muck Off rim tape and valve stems and both wheelset have been great! The price of the DIY carbon products seems too good to be true, but from what I've experinced I recommend them 10/10.

So far so good!!! Ive only rode the bike a handful of times since I completed the build. She seems to want to rip the single track. Very highly recommend these frames.
