This GRX700 frame from DIY Carbon Bikes is top of the line for capability and affordability. Built with T800/T1000 carbon the frame is light, stiff, and strong.

This frame is distinct from our other DCB gravel offerings as a frame that is built primarily for light weight and compliance. The frame is capable being able to run both 700X28-32c road tires and 700x32-42c gravel or CX tires.

Designed for compliance in the rear seat stays, this frame is extremely comfortable absorbing gravel buzz and smoothening out rough roads. The frame also has a high top tube allowing for the bike to be easily picked up in thrown over your shoulder crossing a creek on gravel, or leaping a barrier in cyclocross racing.

The frame is comparable to a Trek Boone, yet at a much more affordable price. Save money and do it yourself!

10/10 will be getting the wife a FS mtb frame from here soon. Frame arrived nicely packed in excellent condition. This is my 4th carbon frame bike, 3rd 700c carbon frame. Bike will be for 98% commuting. I think the ideal tire for me is probably Goodyear eagle f1 700x34c. I could put conti gator skins 28s on it for a fine roadie build, or Pirelli gravel m 40s for fire roads. Super versatile, lightweight, blank slate frame to start with. Fit is as expected. I’m 6’0 and a L works well. Short riser stem and wide flare bars… I could certainly swap to a more aggressive stem If I wanted. 90% of the parts came off my old commuter bike, frame got donated. 14.5lbs with pedals. The original frame shipped to me had a bad bottom bracket shell. We got it warrantied and made it good in the end.

Im very happy with the purchase of my GRX700. The frame is light, fast, and fun. I currently have it set up for road and light gravel and it performs great. I put over 500 miles on this frame and had zero issues with the frame, seat post, and headset. Customer service was quick to respond and helpful. BTW, Im 5'7" and purchased the XS.

This frame has been great. Perfect for mixed surface riding. Ty has helped me with a mtb and this frame now and has been super helpful helping me find what's best for me. This is probably the lightest road/gravel bike I've had as well. Great stuff all around.

I’m very happy with how this project turned out with the GRX700 frame. I live around hilly farm roads and a rail-trail that runs 172 miles. I built the bike with the intent to traverse both road and trail seamlessly in my routes. I’ve put 200 miles on this frame so far. It’s light, fast, and fun!

I am pretty impressed all in all. I have built a lot of carbon bikes, some name brands and several direct from China. I bought 2 from DIY with custom paint. One came in a paint different from the way the swatch looked on the website but DIY refunded the cost of the paint which I was ok with as it was close enough. The paint jobs were very nice. They are pretty light and everything built up fine. Fun to ride and comfortable angles for us. I would definitely recommend. They were also much faster shipping than expected. - carl@carlphoto.com

Picked up this frame with wheels,seatpost and bars. I have to say I am impressed with the frame it set up perfectly and it it smooth and fast! Do not worry about buying from diy the quality is great!

Pretty happy to get the frame. I replaced all the parts from my CX30 to this frame. The frame is very stiff. Likely over engineered. Was delivered to Australia without any issue the packaging was very good. I am happy to be back on the road again after an accident. The painting was as if from the factory. I guess in a few thousand more kms I will decide if I will do it again. Many thanks

I built this frame up as a dedicated road bike to compliment my DCB Explore-like gravel bike. After a few hundred miles I am very happy with it! The paint job is high quality and the finish of the frame set over all is excellent. Built up with a DCB carbon wheeleset, seat post, barand stem, along with Ultegra R8000 2x11 it looks and rides like bikes costing twice as much. Love it! Thanks Ty! - sbleyl@mac.com

Very happy with the DIY frame (GRX700). DIY is very responsive to emails and the frame was delivered on time. Short term review of the frame... so far no issue, the frame has been a “frame”. It’s not a groundbreaking/revolutionary frame. It a good frame! Decent weight, good ride quality You could find better but you’ll pay way more! And would spend 2k more for a frame make you a better rider? This frame is a good deal! The DIY carbon wheels on the bike is also a great product! I will be buying more DIY products
