The DCB Carbon MTB Wheels XC/Trail or AM/Enduro Rims with Novatec Hubs are our most affordable 27.5er wheels for your MTB rig!

These wheels are available with Four XC/Trail and Three AM/Enduro Rim Options so you can fit your ride with the strength grade, depth, height, profile, and weight that you want! Three of the options have upgrade costs (See wheel options below with price and weight).

The Novatec 791/792 or 462 hubs provide a quality, light, and affordable XC/Trail hub available in all spacings.

The Spokes are available with standard Pillar P14 Straight Gauge Spokes or upgraded ($60) PIllar X-TRA 1420 spokes.

Wow! What a great, light, true set of wheels. As usual, lightweight wheels make a huge difference for a light rider and this set of DCB 27.5s is a great match for a robust CC build. Please ensure that you order the right hub spline and disk pattern.

Very nice wheels. I just put the tape and have them inflated with minor loss without sealant (I was waiting to install them before putting the sealant in. They were perfectly aligned and round. Definitely recommends. Only downside, I fear the stickers won’t last long. But for the moment they looks very well!!

These wheels are amazing. I beat the heck out of them on my carbon hardtail, and they don't blink. They feel insanely light and fast. Some of the abuse they have survived include being launched off our trailer on the highway. Fork snapped, wheels were fine. 29k of descent at Mountain Creek Bike Park, which is very hard, rocky, and rooty. Everesting, which was not too stressful on them, but still 142 miles and 29k of climb. I've put many hundreds of miles on them at this point, mostly on gnarly New England trails and steep, rough tech at bike parks. Many 6-8 foot drops, probably a few 10ft drops as well. Many miles chasing my 15yr old and his aggressive teammates on their full suspension trail and enduro bikes. I prefer to run higher pressures and not bounce the rims off rocks, but it happens, no marks whatsoever. The assembly from DIY is extremely solid, much better than my local well-respected bike shop when I had the novatec hub replaced with a Hope. I should have gone with the Hope from DIY, as I've sheered off a crank bolt and like to climb. I sheared off the pawls on the novatec. Have not needed to touch the spokes from the DIY assembly, and they are all solid. Outstanding wheels, I'll definitely look at DIY for a frame if I need one.

After several months of hard riding, the wheels have more they held up to the abuse being dished out by my son! We have not had to touch them in any way.

Great set of wheels this is my 3rd set of carbon diys best bang for buck hands down my first set from four years ago still holding strong. My new set clean straight and light. I was finally able to take them for a spin this weekend. These are great! I got the AM/Enduro model with the Novatech hubs. They run smooth,stiff, and feel light. My only gripe would be the decals. They don't look like they will last but the fit and finish of the rim itself is excellent.
